Our wedding will take place in Hungary, about a 1.5-hour drive from Budapest, in the town of Tata. The ceremony will be held at the historic Pálma Rendezvényház. This unique building was constructed at the end of the 19th century as a palm house, where exotic plants were kept during the winter. Later, it became one of the town’s most beloved gathering places, hosting cafés and balls. Today, fully restored, it serves as an elegant event venue, combining historic charm with the beauty of its natural surroundings. You can find the exact location on the map below. The park where this building stands historically belonged to one of Hungary’s most influential aristocratic families — the Esterházy family. During the Habsburg era, they were extremely powerful and influential, often regarded as the elite of Hungarian nobility. They owned numerous estates and palaces across the country.

Kristály Imperial Hotel is the oldest hotel in Hungary—in the centre of Tata, near the Angolkert and the lakes. It has welcomed guests since 1770; once the inn of Szarka, it has hosted royalty and artists such as Queen Erzsébet of Hungary, Mór Jókai, and Otto Habsburg. We’d be delighted if you stayed where they did.
